Achievement unlocked: Engineering Good has crossed 10,000 refurbished laptops distributed.

The work began in 2020, when COVID-19 made laptops essential for home-based learning, remote work, job searching, and staying connected. EG responded by collecting donated devices, refurbishing them, and getting them to people at risk of being left out of the digital shift.
Five years later, the initiative has supported low-resource families, jobseekers, migrant workers, and other under-resourced users through partnerships with more than 340 community partners.
